Original Prints
Original prints need special care for conservation. Lithographs, serigraphs, etchings, and woodblock prints require archival framing. Acid-free mats, linen tapes, and backing are recommended. Museum glass provides 99% UV protection while minimizing glare and distortion. Moulding, wider mats, and fillets should be considered in achieving a highly stylized and sophisticated look.
