• Do you frame jerseys? Yes, we frame various types including baseball, hockey, and football jerseys. Jerseys are stretched on a mat and then fixed in place with very thin nylon. This is backed with foamboard and then enclosed in a shadowbox or shadowbox like frame. Photos, certificates, or other memorabilia can be placed in the framed piece as well. There many choices of frames with various finishes and depths to enhance any jersey.
• Do you frame textile art? Yes, we frame various types of textiles including baby clothes, needlepoint, and wall hangings. We will stretch them on linen mats with your choice of color. Glass is optional. For larger pieces we will back them with gator board. We have a wide variety of frames for any size and type of textile to complement your home or office decor. finishes and depths to enhance any jersey.
• Can you replace broken glass in a frame? Yes, we cut glass in our store and can match the size and type of glass that you have. We stock a range of glass types including conservation clear, conservation non-glare, and conservation museum. If necessary we can replace the glass the same day.
• Can you replace mats in an existing frame? Yes, we have a large variety of acid-free mats to choose from. We can cut mats for any size image and frame. We can remove the existing mat and replace it with a new one to better complement the art. Our designers will assist you in your selection to find just the right color and texture for your piece.
• Can you match a frame we already have? Yes, we have perhaps the widest selection of mouldings to choose from in Austin and central Texas. We have over 700 moulding samples on display and have access to over 500 more from catalogs. There are some very antique frames that are no longer being made, but even then, we can find a moulding that comes close to any frame you have. If you purchased a frame from us in the past, we have a record of the frame, mat, and glass and can match it without even seeing the framed work of art.
• Can you replace just the frame moulding? Yes, we have a wide selection of mouldings to choose from. Simply bring in your framed art and let our designers help you select the perfect moulding to accent the art and work for your home or office.
• Can you frame art that is large? Yes, we can frame art up to 8' x 8'. We have a wide assortment of mouldings for large size art. The styles range from classical to modern. We frequently have framed art on display in our gallery that is very large to give you ideas on framing this kind of art.
• Do you offer discounts on framing? Yes, we frequently have specials on in-stock mouldings including ready-mades and custom sizes. We saw, join, cut mats, cut glass, assemble, and finish frames in our store. Consequently we have a wide variety of in-stock mats and mouldings that we can offer at reduced prices.
• Do you offer same day service? Yes. Our normal turnaround is 10 days, but if needed, we can use in-stock mats, mouldings, and glass to complete your framing project the same day.
